Okpo Shipyard of Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering spans over a 4000,000㎡ land and consists of large-scale specialized facilities and equipments for shipbuilding and repairs such as a dock that can handle a 1,000,000 ton vessel and a 900 ton Goliath crane. The shipyard builds various vessels, offshore plants, drill ships, FPSO/FPUs, submarines and destroyers all year round and offers plant tour programs for visitors.

Directions
* Take a bus from Seoul’s Nambu Bus Terminal to Gohyeon. The bus operates at 10 to 20 minute intervals from 06:40 to 24:00 daily. At the bus stop, located right across from Gohyeon Terminal, take the bus headed for Okpo/Jangseungpo and get off at the DSME stop. Travel time is roughly 40 minutes. .

* Take a bus from Seoul’s Nambu Bus Terminal to Jangseungpo. The bus is available from 10:10 to 23:40 each day. At Jangseungpo Terminal, take a bus headed for Okpo and get off at the DSME stop. From the bus stop to the shipyard, it takes about 7 minutes by taxi or 30 minutes on foot.
