38th Parallel Rest Stop (38선휴게소)

The rest stop is located at the 38th Parallel, symbolizing the division of Korea. Gisamunhaebyeon Beach, right above the rest stop, is the place where a commemorative plaque was placed after the 38th parallel was first crossed during the Korean War. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the sea from the rest stop and learn about the history of the war at the exhibition center next to the rest stop.
